Pension fund pooling structures can be divided into two categories: on the one hand are the traditional 'look at' vehicles including Irish Unit Trusts and worldwide quoted and non-quoted investment funds. On the other hand are the relatively recent 'look through' vehicles, comprising the Ireland-based Common Contractual Fund (CCF) and the Luxembourg-based Fondscommun De Placement (FCP).
