I am preparing for the Hallowe'en trick or treaters to start coming by to collect their booty. I'm sure that there will be more than a few costumes that will scare me ... Speaking of scary events, tomorrow is the start date for the new ESMA short selling rules (and also rules related to Credit Default Swaps).

While most securities lending market players have made more money in 2012 than they have over the past few years, I'm pretty certain that most are looking for new ways to improve the bottom line.
